Welcome to Divorce Logic LLC (“Divorce Logic,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing services or products through our website checkout, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Scope of Services

Divorce Logic provides financial forensics, QDRO drafting, analysis, planning, and related divorce support services. Purchases made through this website relate only to the specific service or product described at checkout. Additional services require a separate engagement agreement.

2. Payments & Billing

  •  Payments, Retainers & Billing
    • Payment Due: All fees must be paid in full at the time of checkout unless otherwise specified.
    • Retainers: Certain services require a retainer payment. A retainer is an advance deposit for anticipated services.
      • Retainers are deposited into Divorce Logic’s client account and billed against as services are rendered.
      • Time is billed in increments of [e.g., 0.1 hours (6 minutes)], at the agreed hourly rates.
      • When the retainer balance is low, you may be required to replenish it before further work continues.
      • Any unused retainer balance, after the completion of services and final billing, will be refunded to you.
    • Billing Statements: You will receive periodic statements showing fees incurred and retainer balances.
    • Payment Processing: We accept payments through the payment processor(s) listed on our site. By submitting your payment information, you authorize Divorce Logic to process the charges.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Due to the professional nature of our services, all flat rate services are non-refundable once work has begun.
  • If you cancel before services have commenced, you may be eligible for a refund at our discretion.
  • Retainers are non-refundable once applied to services; however, any unused balance at the conclusion of the case will be returned.
  • Digital products, templates, and downloads are final sale and non-refundable.

4. No Legal or Tax Advice

Divorce Logic is not a law firm, accounting firm, or tax preparation service. Information, services, and materials provided are for financial analysis and planning purposes only and do not constitute legal or tax advice. You should consult with an attorney and/or tax advisor for those matters.

5. Confidentiality & Privacy

  • We take client confidentiality seriously and will handle your information in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].
  • However, you acknowledge that electronic communications (including email and online platforms) may carry inherent risks.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for Divorce Logic to perform its services.
  • Respond promptly to requests for documentation or clarification.
  • Understand that delays or incomplete information may impact the quality or timeliness of our work.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, templates, reports, and deliverables produced by Divorce Logic remain our intellectual property unless expressly transferred in writing. You are granted a limited license to use the materials solely for your personal or case-related purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Divorce Logic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service purchased.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey (without regard to conflict of law principles). Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
